AZ Emissions Well I am due up for my emissiosn in September but I really wanna get some Pacesetter LT headers and a TSP ORY to go with my GMMG. I was wondering if any of you guys have had to get tested in the Phoenix area and what they do to test you. Is there any way to pass with that new set up or should I just wait untill September.

Since you are OBDII, they generally only check for codes thru the ALDL and gas cap pressure. BUT....I've heard different things from different people about various smog check facilities. Apparently, some stations check closer than others. I really can't tell you as I haven't had to do this yet. I'd like to know as I'm doing headers and a cam in my 02.
When I had mine done they just plugged in the OBD2 reader and did the gas cap pressure test. No visual inspection. But if it was me I would try to keep the cats just in case they decide to inspect you.
