emissions differance?

emissions differance? I just bought a z28 here in Michigan that was originally sold in Columbus, Ohio. I found out today that the car has Califrnia emissions. What is the differance between CA. and Mi or Ohio? What are CA. emissions?

sucks you got our cali emissions.... but i think that every car has them??
all i no about them is take them off as quickly as possible.... i have family in michigan and i went and bought my ss out there, at least you guys can get away with having none of the emissions **** on there jsut throw on some lt's and and search about waht **** to take off for the emissions

there is no such thing as CA emissions for certain cars. you have a '00 so all you have is AIR and EGR to worry about emissions wise. im a little confused on what your trying to get at. the '01 and '02's only had AIR.

, but when they ran the vin# in there computer it came up with CA. emissions. That's what is prompting the question. If it's only EGR and AIR, then, that's what they all come with. I was thinking that there might have been a differance in the factory tune or something.pmh
