Sometimes you wanna give the work to someone who needs it, and even pay them more then what they quoted you. In the long run it always turns out the same, should have just paid more in the begining and save yourself a bunch less money in the long run.

Funny thing is LPR doesnt answer his phone, then I call block it and he picks up... says to call back, I do and no answer. I need to pick up the rest of my parts at his shop and part ways. I did get a T56 for $1500 tonight, so it will be in first thing tomorrow, and the shop will DEFINATELY make sure the tranny fluid is in it. Rookie mistakes, cost mega money.

To top it off I asked LPR to just give me a kick back, just something, **** if it covered my towing cost I would have been happy. Instead he places the blame on the shop that removed the tranny stating it was them who drained it. EVEN SO, you should always check fluids especially when you hear the whine from the tranny.

Anyways just pisses me off to even think about it.
what does LPR stand for ? or is that there name, and where are they located

Man that really sucks. The trans. fluid is obvious when none leaks from the Tail Shaft Housing. And no help on making it right is BS.You really need to just stop in and get your stuff rather wasting your time calling him.

Yeah but I think he's hurting for money right now. He claims he has a place that can find me a tranny, but after 3 days of hearing the same B.S. I decided to just take a second on the house and get me a damn tranny. LOL. Anyways I hope everything is situated with this car tomorrow, so sick of having to write up these horror storys. Actually Jason how much would you charge me to put together my forged motor? Its suppose to be done on Friday from the balance shop, so all I would need is someone to assemble it. I've got to order some head bolts and the gasket kit, but that should do it.

Of course I could always have LPR do it, and throw the rods right through the block the first time I start it.

Sounds like it's time for small claims court.

Yeah, do it. You'll win easily, if they even show up.

Don't let their tactics discourage you from getting what's yours.

Collecting your money may seem like another obstacle, but you'll get it.

Well picked up my stuff today, again after leaving messages then call blocking, and him finally picking up. Funny thing is he said have fun on the "Forums" so I know your reading this Lang. Basically you dont wanna accept blame for ANYTHING that you did on the car? Just as an update my crossmember bolts were outta the car because they werent tight. I took the car to a local shop, they put it up on a lift and tightened all 6 bolts. They laughed when I told them about what happened. Luckily the K-member didnt fall off while I was driving. Bottom line: You get what you pay for.

File a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair and take him to small claims court. Don't be a fool and let the arrogant S.O.B. get away with it. No matter how much you paid the job should have been done right!
