Default Dyno tuned car! Feels different!!!

I had my car dyno tuned at Excelsior Motorsports and man what a difference. Granted I do not have all the mods that some of you other guys have but man you really can feel the difference. The only true mods I have are my shorty headers and Borla catback exhaust.

What is cool is that the dyno is a Mainline Dyno 2WD 1000 from Australia. It uses EFI Live and DynoLog. It is Windows based and is NOT DOS BASED.

The weather was a factor so I easily lost 5 to 10 HP. When I went for a drive the change was incredible. It pulls hard in the power band. Botom line: Dyno tuning can help any car no matter what kind of mods you have.

My baseline torque was 295.5 ft. lb. @ 146KPH and baseline power was 282.8 HP@ 190KPH.

We ended up at 301.4 ft. lb. of torque @144KPH and 293.8 HP @180KPH. We had one run where it went to 305.1 ft. lb. of torque ad 298.5 HP.

The owner of the shop is Kushan Peykarian. Very nice and very knowledgeable. He is a fountain of info.

His shop is located at 5555 Magnatron Blvd. Ste. L. San Diego Ca. 92111. Visit him and you won't be disappointed.

I've heard that the best tuners use EFI Life.
