Do any of y'all know this guy?

He goes by cpt. No Hood. His real name is Jason Carr and he hails from Indio, CA. I sent him a $550 money order for a set of '02 WS6 wheels way back on 05/05/2006. He told me that he had recieved the money order and shipped the wheels, but I still haven't seen them. He hasn't sent me a tracking number and hasn't sent me an email or PM since 5/22. If anybody knows him, 'could you get in touch with him and see what's goin on?

Ask ACW to look him up, he should be able to get you some phone numbers to call the guy.

I know him. PM sent.

Well, I talked to him on Wednesday and he said he was going to ship them out on Friday. Still haven't heard from him, though.

Still haven't heard from him. This has been the worst online buying experience of my entire life.

Don't give up hope. You'll get your wheels or money.

Rottluver Jun 12, 2006 09:47 AM

I went back & forth on buying those exact wheels. I am SOOOOOO glad I decided against it.

Sorry you are having so much grief dude. :(

Damn, I hope you're right. I just don't understand how somebody could do this to someone else.

Rottluver Jun 13, 2006 11:04 AM

Have you posted up in the bad seller section or talked to mods/admins about this yet?

He's ripped a few more people since I first made this post, so there's more than just me looking to pursue whatever legal options we've got.

Yup, I'm another guy that got screwed. See my thread in the feedback section and the one that is in this section . DarkBlue99TA also got scammed. We are all pooling together to figure something out. :lurk:

A cut-and-paste from the form:
.................................................. .................................................. ...
3) Use this on-line report form if the crime you are reporting fits into one of these categories.

* Vandalism
* Car Break-In
* Burglary of House or Garage
* Burglary of a Business
* Petty Theft (under $400)
* Grand Theft (over $400)

* Miscellaneous Occurrence

Do not use this form if...

* ...if you know where the suspect is, or where he/she resides.

* ...there is physical evidence to be collected.
* ...there is a present or continuing danger.
* ...the crime involves domestic violence or crimes resulting in physical injuries.

Stolen Vehicles CANNOT be reported on this form.

If the crime does not meet all the criteria above, then you should call (951) 776-1099 and request a deputy to respond to your location.
.................................................. .................................................. ....
This form is only a convenient way to submit a report, you can always call instead. If you know his address, you can't use this form and you must call. Its your money bro, what are you waiting for?

On a side note and IMO, sending your buddy to his house will not do you any good. You are past that stage now. Sending a friend to his house is sending a message, so he better be good at delivering messages.

Plus, if he reads this he is prepared for that. He'll either come up with excuses, pretend he's not who you're looking for, he won't answer the door, or tell the people he lives with that he's not home to anyone not familiar.
