Default Problems with cpt. No Hood:

I found a set of '02 WS6 wheels that he was advertising in the classified section in this thread.
Timeline:
5/3/2006: I enquired about their condition, via PM.
5/4/2006: I recieved, via email, pictures of the wheels.
5/4/2006: I decided to buy them, and let him know, via PM.
5/5/2006: I mailed a postal money order for $550, to the address he provided.
5/12/2006: I asked if he recieved the money order.
5/12/2006: He let me know that he had recieved the money order two days before and would get them out tomorrow.
5/16/2006: He said that he sent them out and would get me a tracking number when his wife got home.
5/22/2006: Since I never got a tracking number, I messaged him asking if he knew when the wheels were supposed to arrive.
5/22/2006: He replied that they would take 6 to 9 days and were in two different packages.
5/22/2006: He asked for my address so he could get the tracking numbers out of his records. (This is the last message I've recieved from him).
5/22/2006: I sent him my address.

I've since enquired further, both through PMs and emails to the email address he sent me the pictures from and the one that he's registered through. I requested read reciepts on all those PMs, and they've all been read. I'm hoping that the wheels are on their way and just delayed, but without a tracking number, I'm clueless. cpt., if you read this, please get back with me with a status update. I'll get this post deleted if you'll let me know what's going on.

Damn if you are a seller comunication with the buyer is the key to a great transaction, the seller has his money and the buyer has to hope he hasn't been scamed, I dont care how busy anyone is a 1-2 minute update is only fair.

Well, I talked to him on the AIM tonight. There is apparantly a misunderstanding between he and his wife to blame for this situation. He's going to send the wheels out on Friday. I'll post up when he does.

I've been talking to 1320. He's a friend of NoHood...Hopefully.

Those do seem to be the exact same wheels. They've even got the same damage on them. I talked to NoHood's SN on the AIM again today. Hopefully things are working out like they're telling me and I'm not being duped. I'll let y'all know if I ever hear anything definite.

That advertisement showed up before I ever talked to them about the wheels. So hopefully it's innocent. I'm not ready to accuse anyone, yet. I think that he's trying to make good on this. Hopefully. I'm hoping that I'm not just being naive. This has been much less than a positive transaction. I really don't think I could recommend NoHood...but I'm not going to call him a thief at this point.

I would say your "friend" should send the person, who paid for the rims already, a tracking number so he can "not worry anymore"

I agree with Rottluver, he made a good point. You should have your "friend" or whatever post up a tracking number.

I would if I hadn't almost bought these wheels from the same guy and since it isn't YOU (allegedly) who is involved in this transaction, I could ask you to mind your own darn business as well.

And if you read the 1st post in this thread, your "friend" claimed to have sent the rims out on MAY 16th and HAD a tracking number that he was "just waiting on his wife to get home to be able to give to the buyer." Now, according to YOU, he JUST sent them out last week......HUGE diff, who is lying?

And why hasn't the seller contacted the buyer in weeks? This is just flat ridiculous for someone to have to go thru all this after sending out that kinda money well over a month ago.

For all the selling & buying I have done, there has ALWAYS been a tracking number given, especially when you are talking about hundreds of dollars that was already sent on good faith.

A tracking number would be appreciated. I'll be honest, this thing has carried on for so long, that I'm not holding my breath. I really hope that they're on their way.

Thanks cyphur and Rott, it's nice to feel like there are people out there giving me their support.

I know it is a bad feeling but stay all over this guy and his "friend" since he wants to keep joining the game.......don't let this become a bad experience because of one or two people who are inconsiderate (still giving them the benefit of the doubt) and holding your money hostage. It is called theft if they do not give you the items you paid for.........so they ought to think about sending the wheels or returning your money ASAP!!!!!!!!
