Talking 6.0L Fired up!!!

Well, yesterday I had some minor things to do on the temp 6.0L for the Z28. I needed to add water, connect the trans fluid lines and fill the trans with fluid, then remove the VP-110 and replace it with 91 Octane (10.4 comp ratio now), then loaded a temp tune based off of the stock setup. Fired right up, but it was a tad rich. Nothing a little tuning can't fix. The car is ready for action as soon as I reroute the brake lines and bleed the lines.

It blew a head gasket that made a nice milkshake . When I opened it up, one of the pistons had a pin hole in it (not enough material) where the spark plug goes, and the pistons had hit the cylinder heads bending at least one exhaust valve open. I put this in to keep Jen racing while I (re)build up the 408. Possible plans call for either supercharged or turbocharged. But that will be about a year down the road.

That sucks. At least you got the car up in the mean time. I would go for the turbo, but the expense is too much for me. I figured about 12k for everything to go turbo on my car. Maybe I'll see you guys at the track after we put harrys car back together.
