Need Stock MAF and Lid
Need Stock MAF and Lid Well not to go into a whole lot of detail, but my car has been having a ton of problems lately. Just one being the last general mechanic I took it to broke my damn air lid, a huge chunk off the side, and I didn't even notice this until about two weeks later. Then I checked the MAF and it had debris all up in it and had messed up the screen, so I decided to just take it off and seal up the lid as best I could. I know this isn't the only problem remaining, so I'm taking it to a shop that does alot of F-body work later this week, so I would like to be able to rule out these two things as potential causes.
So if anyone in the Inland Empire (I'm in Riverside) has replaced their stock MAF and air lid, particularly the MAF, and would be willing to sell/rent/loan either to me, please respond. I have a 2001 Z28, think the lids are a little different from the 98-00, don't even know about the TA's. Figure the MAFs would be the same, but again not too sure. If I had $300 I'd just go grab the SLP ones and be done with it, but I've already spent a wad of cash and probably gonna be even more coming up.
