If you're REALLY depserate you can do background work (extras in films) for minimum wage ($54 for 8 hours, plus overtime)... Anyways, just make the move dude... I'm sure you can get a job at Home Depot/OSH/Do It Center etc... in the paint department if you want.

Apartments around here (Burbank/North Hollywood/Studio City) are about $700 (all inclusive) to $1000 for a studio or $1000 to (name your price) for a 1bdr.

Best thing would be to find someone looking for a roommate, then you'd be paying about $500 total... Worst case scenario check out Craig's List....
