gmmg+highflow cats=???

hey guys im new here. i've search and read around, but nothing seem to directly answer my question. i have a completely stock 02 z28 and i'm planning on installing a gmmg exhaust system and magnaflow high flow cats.

my questions are:
1. will i pass smog/emission in CA with gmmg's and magnaflow high flow cats?
2. will there be any difference if i add the magnaflow cats?

any suggestions and advice welcome.

For what it's worth, I've got a 2000, with a set of Magnaflow high-flows and haven't had any problems passing. I don't have the GMMG's, but the Magnaflow's pass with flying colors.

Depending on your goals, your money would probably be better spent on other items.

You could be failed on the sole fact that it is an aftermarket part. Cali is pretty iffy on a lot of different issues. I'd try it and see what happens. And if they fail you for "aftermarket exhaust". thrwo your stocker back on for a weekend and get it sniffed just to pass. THEN its time for the healthy GMMG sound.
