Phoenix Area Tuner?
I'm considering adding a FAST 90 intake and TB at the same time, but it seems like a lot of money for what might be marginal gains. At any rate, I need a recommended shop for a good tune for a daily driver with the occasional romp into mayhem. Any recommendations?
as for a tune, cant go wrong with NicD (username), he uses multiple dyno's around the valley, but is a private tuner, he's not affiliated with any of the shops.
i've met him a couple times, and just about every LSx owner in the valley goes to him for a tune.
as for intake, depends on what other mods you have, what size cam is in the car?

Regarding the cam spec, I don't know but hope to know tomorrow when I call DTE. The only thing I know about the cam setup (which admittedly isn't much) is with 1.8 rockers it's over .6 in lift. Not very helpful, eh? Here's some of the work done to it:
- DTE spec'd AFR fully CNC ported and machined cylinder heads w/ stainless steel 2.020"/1.600" intake-exhaust valves, HD dual valve springs, 7* locks, titanium valve spring retainers and hardened valve spring locaters/shims
- DTE custom ground hydraulic roller camshaft specifically engineered for this vehicle platform
- Double roller 3-peice timing set
- DTE ported engine oil pump w/ PRV modification upgrade
- U/D pulley w/ matching A/C and main serpantine belts
- GM harmonic balancer crank bolt
- GM head bolt set
- GM head gasket set
- HD hardened pushrod set
- DTE 160* engine coolant thermostat
- NGK V-groove sparkplug set
- Open-element cold air kit
- Stainless Works stainless steel long-tube header set
- DTE stainless steel lead pipes w/ high-flow, metal-matrix catalytic converters
- Corsa performance exhaust system
- Port matched intake manifold
- Ported throttle body
- DTE stainless steel AFR sensor bung/plug kit
The tune on it is mild, so there's a touch more performance to be had but for a daily driver and occasional street beast it's ok.

I didn't take these since I don't actually have the car in my possession yet, but here's a couple from the seller.

There's a little too much space between wheelwell and tire for my taste, so I either need to lower the car or get bigger rims.
