that's horrible, something is def. wrong
I had a problem with a SES light a few weeks ago. So I took it over to AZP&S and had Mike scan it. I thought it was the 02's and that would explain why my gas milage has been going down. It ended up being the car thought the tempture sensor was not reading due to my car running cold from the Meziere EWP. Though the sensor was working fine so Mike fixed it with HP Tuners (at least got the SES's off).
Since then my gas milage has gotten worse. I used half a tank going 104 miles these last two days... half being highway.
I still believe that he car is thinking it's running too cold and dumping in more fuel to make up for it. So yeah...
I love you Bert.
Pull the thermostat from the mezeire and go buy another just like it. It probably has 2 holes drilled in the thermostat like mezeire recommends in their instructions. Problem being those 2 holes are way too big for cold climates and it makes the car take forever to warm up, maybe not even kicking into closed loop and running off cold enrichment tables. Drill 2 holes half the size of the originals into the new thermostat and put it back and and see if that helps. It helped mine back in the day when I ran that EWP.

ill be back in PHX on the 29th, whats everyone doing for NYE?
