Default Denver Question

I'm thinkin about trying to transfer to my company's Denver office at some point. It's nw of Denver in Broomfield so I would obviously be looking for a place to live in nw Denver. I dont want to live in Boulder. I know what Denver metro area is like and has to offer, but what about nw Denver? what is the area like? how are the schools? what areas in nw Denver are better/nicer? Is it an expanding part of the Denver area or not really? whe i live now in nw Houston, it's blowing up. new master planned communities/neighborhoods and large retail centers popping up where it used to be nothing 5 years ago. I hope nw Denver is not the dump or ghetto part of town. TIA!

To answer your question A&M drty brd, there are plenty of nice houses, schools in that area.

Another area that is expanding is on the SW side of town. ALso the NE side of Denver near the airport. You will get more real estate for the money on the NE side of Denver, but then it is about a 20-30 minute commute to Broomfield.

Prices might be higher NW-SW of town. Denver real estate has been very slow the last year, so overall it is still a buyers market.

I moved out here about a year ago. Had a lot of luck using the Realtor.com website.

Yes, we had some big snow recently..it is nice out here. Just be prepared for your engine power to drop 15-18% out here..

Good luck, welcome if you come..

I work for Level 3 located in Broomfield and I live in Superior. The Louisville/Superior area is very nice and is rated by several sources as the best city (Louisville) to raise a family.
