You can use a 400 converter.. you just use the other set of flexplate bolts and a factory adaptor off a GM truck and longer flexplate bolts that lets the front hub thing seat correctly. Then just fab a crossmember and use a flexable dipstick from lokar, get a driveshaft fabbed up, rig a shifter and you are done.
