Default need opinions!

ok well i was looking at this car:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-members/651938-finally-got-some-pics-my-car-clean.html

and i really like his setup, with a formula front bumper cover, and T/A sideskirts and rear hatch/bumper cover... I am seriously considering trading somebody front bumper covers from a formula now.

what do you guys think i should do?

and would anybody with a formula be willing to trade??

I think it would look even better without the T/A sideskirts.

well i'd like to do all that stuff too, but i'm in one of those rutts where you really just wanna do something to the appearance...

i've found a guy that would be willing for a straight trade across, but lives in chicago, so shipping would be hard.. plus his formy is NBM so i wouldn't even need to get it painted. and if i do, my buddy paints anyways, thats no problem at all.

i honestly don't expect to pay much for this swap, so i won't be blowing tons of money on it, just think it looks clean as hell.

well if he trades straight across, go for it. the color might not match perfect, but you can get that handled.

if you pull off the sideskirts though youre gonna need to fill the holes. that would prob be a pain in the ***

trade me rims, lol

Do it if you can. I've always liked the formula WS6 front and the T/A spoiler.

i don't see your point... it's changing the appearance of my car, it will look different, and IMO, cleaner. if your idea is correct, wouldn't ALL appearance mods be pointless???

hoods
wheels
decals
tint
side markers
suspension

don't get me wrong, i'm all for performance mods, but at this current moment, i'm completely content with the performance of my car, i just got the cam in there not too long ago, and i'm still enjoying it... for now.

i am most likely leaving the sides on, unless i get the urge to do a complete formula swap... which wouldn't be bad either, i've always liked them. but i am most likely just changing fronts.

and as for the wheels, you should look into a trade with somebody, there might be SOMEBODY out there that would be interested.

I think it's a good idea Greg...And you seem to have an ability to pay next to nothing to do stuff to your car...Like your 17$ cam swap, or the $2.50 you paid for the wheels at a garage sale in central phoenix...

I'd go for it, and fix your damn exhaust tips...

Formula front end > T/A front end IMO.

True. Anything you do isn't going to affect resale value.

So sounds like you like it.. I'd say go for it if you can get a good deal.

It'll definately make your car different/original

I've got the Formy with WS6 hood, but am really wanting the T/A hatch/spoiler to go with it.

Greg, you need a hood first.

And DONT do the rear bumper if youre keeping the sideskirts. It wouldn't flow right with the bottom body line.
