Got a 12 sec time slip :)

Ran a 12.74 @ 106.5 with a 1.879 60' at Speedworld last night. I'm stoked!
This is on 8 psi in the 408, with stock geared 4L80E, 3.73's and 285/75-16 tires and a 3000 stall converter.
Brett didn't get a good run in - I guess he was still running crazy rich after taking 15% fuel out. Guess the new fuel pump is really good or the old one sucked ***!
nothing like running on water to pucker your cheeks!
did brett get out of the 15s?

Long-term goal is to have a 10 second truck. We'll see if I get there.

Hater??? NO.
That's 1.7+ seconds to make up now on an already boosted truck...It is possible, it will just take a lot of work to get there...
Anyway, i love the sound of that truck...I loved when we raced getting on the 101 that one time, and he went around the corner on 3 1/2 wheels...

Caption says it's my 12.74 run but it's actually a 12.77 run.....huge difference I know....
I can make up 1.7 seconds with another 7 or 8 psi and some spray

Chris

No problem man, hope that tune gets you by till NicD tackles it. When is he supposed to work on it?

Not sure yet. I drove it around a little today and its a pain in the ***.
Thanks again though. I like this thinking of putting a bottle on the truck.
did you find out why yours blew off, to much backpressure? that is still very fast for a big truck congrats
