Default Got an intake Question

Since some of you know that my mods up till now have been mostly wrong then I thought ide get a second opinion on this: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Does anyone know if it works well, im going to do the free ram air mod with an SLP lid and K&N, but I want to know if that is worth the money first?

itll be a little cleaner looking then the scuba sucker you have right now. FRA and a lid will work out better to me than an open K&N.

I sell quite a few of those. I would imagine they make a bigger difference in the non ram-air cars that have a smaller "box" on them. I have no data to prove anything so.... I just know that people buy them.

A lid is all you really need, and he FRA...

I had that on my TA, and it didn't make much of a difference...

When my car was stock, I did the free ram air mod and lid to it. It went from running 13.5 to 13.1-13.2 in the 1/4.

You can get the ssra complete or just the top piece by itself which is similiar to the slp cai but made of plastic so it won't get hot and possibly heat the air at idle.
http://www.speedspecialty.com/store/...p?product=ssra
(there is an option to get the top piece only for $70.00)

The fra pulls air at the radiator level and will increase the temperature of the air comming in the engine. The iat will be higher and lower timing until you start moving. Not too good if you are sitting in traffic or at the strip. Do a search for more info. The cai systems pull cool air from below the radiator.
