help smogging in so cal Hey Guys,
I'm thinking of buyin a ls1 swapped 93 rx7 and i'm in so cal.
I need some help getting it smogged to register it , but don't know any sources.
It's been marked as gross polluter a few times but last 2 times according to carfax it passed
Anyone have any hookups?

If it has been labled a gross polluter, then you will have to go to a test only station - can't help you there but good luck (and an envelope with $20 bills goes a long ways).

If the RX7 is/was registered here in California legally then the owner would have had gone to a referee station (which I've heard is way harder to pass than a test only or regular smog place) before the DMV would declare it drivable again. But on the other hand if it was registered as a non-op (non operational) vehicle then that's a can of worms you might not want to open up. Get some more details for us and we can help you out more man. Thanks.
Its not a red one with tan interior and an 02 ls1 t-56 in it... is it? haha jk. Mine was a 94 =p. It was labelled gross polluter and I was afraid to deal with it, so I just sold it to some guy in Chi town.
