Az Emissions???

Az Emissions??? I bought 2 year tags for my car. Texas-speed has a great LT headers and ORY package for like less than 500$, they sell one with magnaflow cats for a little less than 600$. What would happen as far as emissions if I were to use ORY in arizona w/o cats? Is it just a better deal to get the high flow cat package?

I dunno where you are from, but I am from the Mesa, AZ area and they are total complete DICKS when they check fbods. They will visual and compare everything for any sort of modifications. I wouldn't even waste my time unless you love working on your car that much and have money to burn.
My car was completely stock but I had a fast90/90 setup and they failed me for non-stock modifications

they did a visual, but the kid who popped my hood was probably 17 and had no clue what he was looking at, he just stared. they were more intersted in the car then their job i think, the old guy who gave me my papers told me to rev it up

If it's OBDII its all done through the DLC, no sniffer no visual; no SES light no problems. If the car is pre-OBDII you have to pass the IM245 or what ever the test is. Thats where the sniff the car and tell you how many penguins you are killing in Alaska.

Thats some crap. Mine should have the OBDII right?? I think so. Its a 1998 T/A. I should have it checked for codes before I have it taken in. they would definately check for cats on a car with a cat-back anyway or something like that. My buddy gets pulled over in his '01 SS when he drives through residential neighborhoods in Gilbert cuz he's got a GMMG loud *** exhaust. The cops always thinks he's running straight pipes. Cops are way gay here in PHX I guess. Did yousee the Bullshit Calls on the San Antonio gam tonight???? **** THE SPURS!!!!

This is only true if you live out of county. So long as your zip code is an 85xxx number you have emissions, if it is an 86xxx number, no emssions!
No emissions testing requirement in 85635 = Sierra Vista, Cochise County.
