TSP C5 header kit FS on SOcal. hey guys ..... i am going to try and sell the TSP header kit i bought a while back.... if you remember, this kit did not fit my car very well.
it was hitting my bellhousing. i called TSP, they said that this was the first that they had heard of a problem. but they WILL NOT refund my $$$ because, the car had been run with them on. they put the headers back in there jig, and they said it lined right up? so maybe there is an issue with my car? needless to say, i am VERY pissed at TSP, and have been ignoring this problem for a few weeks.
so the HOLE kit, is boxed up, and ready for pick up.
and if you want to TEST FIT THEM before you pay, that is just fine.
i am not trying to pawn these off. id really like to see if they fit a reg. C5 and not a Z06...?
the details..... FULL LONG TUBES.... (very long) 42" i think.
1-3/4" primarys, fully ceramic coated, in and out.
3" high flow, fully ceramic coated X-pipe.
comes with SS clamps etc.
***note. these headers have been installed and ran for about 200-300 miles.
and they have some scraps from the first install, (as i installed from the top.)
TSP said they go in easier from the bottom.
***the car ran GREAT with them on.... but it would hit the bellhousing on hard turns..... the kit sounds great, will add volume due to no cats....
TSP says 20-30rwhp gain. i had no before / after dyno.
in total i paid $800+ for the kit.... which is a GREAT price for the kit.
i would like to get $700 for the kit.
let me know if you have any Q's.
