What do I need? Hey all, again...If youve seen me asking alot of questions about the same subject my bad, Ive tried email to a bunch of shops but they dont reply and seeing as Im in Iraq that kinda makes me up **** creek without a paddle...SO the question is...Im definetly going with AFR 205 heads, but now I need to know what cam to go with this head that will make +or- 400whp in a DD, smogable car? the car will have mid length headers, high flow cats (random tech) and probably LM cat back for that over the top obnoxious sound. More importantly what supporting mods will it need, and I mean every little thing. Im pretty new to this stuff and need to be able to put together a shopping list of parts. stuff like timing chains, rockers, rods etc...its all greek to me. Please help, its greatly appreciated!
this sounds like a doable combo to make 400 rwhp with, i suggest a 224-228 on 114 lsa xer lobed cam, seems to be tried and true to make power, drive well, and pass smog. let me know if you have any more questions
