L.A.C.R. on the 29th

Just letting you all know that we are scheduled to goto L.A.C.R. at the end of this month. This is officially the last day scheduled to goto L.A.C.R. and run before Bernie is forced to close the gates forever.

So here's the plan.

Meet up at Flames in Northridge by 12PM
Click here for directions to Flames
Leave Flames by 1PM
Arrive at L.A.C.R. by 2PM

I will have printed directions with me for those of you who are unsure of how to get there.

I will be going but not to flames for I am on the opposite side in Victorville. I will be at the track though for sure.

I am pretty sure I will be there again, but this time I am trying to get my friends to go too. One drives a 99 z28 and the othere a maggied c5 vette.

I went there tonight and I couldn't even get better then a 14.108, and i'm a 13.6 car at cali speedway on average. The track was horribly prepared. My best 60ft was a 2.38, and power shifting to second was not an option. I would light up the tires for about 100yards.

But...I talked to the track guys and they said that the last weekend (27, 28, 29) they are going all out. So it should be alot cleaner and stickier.

haha to be honest its always sucked. I use to go there 3 years ago in my mustang. But I guess they gonna make it good for the last weekend so cross your fingers.

i like tricky tracks...helps you get a better feel for your car under imperfect conditions...you cant expect every track to be prepped well..at least lacr was a cool place to hangout....im going tomorrow for the rat rod show....any valley guys wanna cruise out there with me? lol ill be in the hondizzle ricing it up
