Congrats on breaking into 12's. Oh man last night was beautiful, I happened to cruise for a bit to run some errands and I can't wait to hit the track for my first time, this weather is awesome! Good runs, nice video. Very sweet cars guys! Speedworld just too far away for me, I'ma hit up Firebird now that they reopened for street nights and should be decent for me to run some high 14's *cough*

yea it was nice last night it. For 80 at 10pm it was kind of cold guess just getting used to the hot weather. Da's are still well over 3000 but guess thats good for down here. I'm used to east coast da's lol

as you go up a mountain you know the air is less dense and diff weather conditions can also effect how dense the air is. So like last night the da's were over 3000 ft. Sure someone can probely explain it more/better

Right on. Just curious. I'm from IL and I know theres a considerable difference in our air quality. I'm thinking in lower DA you'd probably shave time off since you'd get more oxygen, which relates to how much fuel you burn therefore, make more power.

Is there something wrong with Firebird?? I've run 13.3's and 13.4's on two different tracks on goodyears with a burned out clutch. I've got a new clutch and drag radials and I ran a 14.1 @ 100!!! I saw several newer GTO's all running about the same!! Is Speedworld that much better, is my car that much slower?? What is the deal??

about Firebird, I know they just got it resurfaced or somthing before reopening.. I'm not sure. This dude with an 05/06' GTO was saying to me somthing like "If you run under 14's, dont count on Magazine statistics" and I was like HUH? are you serious (like he didn't know about ls1 f-bodies. He was running 13.5 @ xxx at Firebird

I've never been to speedworld, the other tracks have been in other states (Alabama & South Dakota). And, it's been at least 3 years since I last went. Still, to see other cars that should have the same or more HP going just as slow just doesn't make sense. ya know?? Should have seen my first run....Wheel hop all through 1st gear, kicked to the left a foot 2nd gear shift, spun 3rd gear shift...it was ridiculous!! 99mph trap speed!!! I could have pushed it faster!!
