What should you pay for a cam install with springs...you know typical cam kit? Then how much should you pay for a kmember install. Not sure what way i want to go

damn prices out here are insane for a price install. I paid less then that for my 2v to put a cam in and the motor was pulled for that. I've been quoted for heads and cam install on my 99 ss $950 just seeing if a cam only is cheaper

Thats just what I'm getting from the local shops and whatnot.

Maybe one of the sponsors could correct me and hook you up.

kmember i'd be tempted to, but would need to do motor mounts at the same time and dont have a tourch to get the old mounts out so i could put the prothane ones in. Car is a daily driver, I do have access to a lift, air tools, etc but dont trust myself doing a cam at all. Kmember i'd have to look at a few install guides but from what i saw last time its not to bad looking but could be wrong. I'd have to use a drive on lift or use jackstands. The body lifts are never free which also would make it a little harder

Cam swap is simple nothing to it, All you have to be carefull is not to scar the cam bearings because it will create hot spots and then lets just say you will need a real mechanic to replace those
