help from ca guys
I'm leaning towards a h/c, but can I actually make 400rwhp and pass emissions? I mean I can't even get long tubes instead I have to get shorties which cost 2x as much for half the gain. Though I have heard that shorties are a good alternative for 95 and below but I am unfortunatley burdened with a 96 and dual cat's. If I have to I could find a crooked smog shop and ask him to overlook my lack of cats but can I pass the sniffer without the cats and just a tune or am I gonna have to pay another 400 bucks to get aftermarket cats and relocate them?
As for FI, I was thinking STS because I can probably find one for cheap on the forums, but everyone says the cost and FI would force me to sell my soul. But I heard STS has a carb number so it's legal.
Also I was thinking about getting LE ported heads but I was thinking it would be more convenient to get them ported at a local performance shop, I've been hearing a lot about CMS dunno if they port heads or not but it would be nice to not have to have like a month of down time because of waiting for my heads...
