Default need advice on what do to .

okay well here it is, i run my stock 02 into the 8.50's on street tires, another member on here is willing to let me borrow his slicks this thurs at irwindale, im debating whether or not to switch in my 4.10 rear this week and go all out and see what happens or not and save my car, i am sick of debating this to myself, any help? thanks

i dunno, they are someone elses, the tires will only be on one night, and im not worried about freeway rpm

thats kinda what im thinking, if i use the slicks on my stock rear and break it im screwed but if i break my spare rear i dont give a ****, im still torn, switching the rears around gets old quick

your car doesn't have enough power to break the trans, and the clutch should be just fine as long as you dump it instead of slipping it

like i said, go all out dawg

im pretty sure that my car has enough power to break the t-56, its not raw power that would kill it, but a 5k launch and no tire spin im sure could do it not likely but i dont wanna mess around too much with this car, im a ***** with this car for sure

I disagree, dead hooking from 6700rpm dumps with 430whp never caused any problems with mine. Same thing with 550whp. The trans is really stout compared to the rear/clutch.

Tranny problems usually stem from racing with improperly working hydraulics or a dragging clutch. Ie, grinding gears.

Yeah your clutch/tans won't break, it will go in this order your rear will grenade, oh well spare one anyways. U joints will snap, oh well not that expensive, quit bein a sissy
