Damn man, that really sucks to hear. Seems like a lot of crashes have been going on lately, f*ck....good luck finding another car though. I feel your pain, my wife is still recovering from a serious wreck in her WRX that happened back in AUGUST....
Use your new chance to pick a car wisely though....all of my friends that got rid of their sporty cars and went with trucks or something more "practical" ended up seriously regretting it in the end, and just ended up going back to something identical to what they had before. Something to think about....

if you weren't drinking or anythng your rates shouldn't go up... by the sound of things and the state that you physically "say" your in means that your insurance provider will end up totalling and probably offer anywhere from $9k~$13k depending on your rides stats. if you want to buy back your ride it would cost probably anywhere between $1.5k~$3k as that will just be knocked off your quote. depending on the condition of the car you should easily be able to make more than the buy-back value of the car.

well when i got in my wreck like 2 years ago, they gave me 19k for the car, and i had only bought it for 15k, i only owed 6k on it, so with the money left over i gave a down payment for the car i have now (which isnt paid off yet) and i paid off all my credit cards
dude... i just saw your thread, im so sorry man, but hey atleast your not seriously hurt, so i take it you were taken to the hospital in an ambulance, dude this sucks, your car was sick. its all good, get what ever you can for your next ride, if i was you this would be a good time to collect your money pay off your loan, get your beater and wait for the new camaro, or firebird, whichever you like,
