I checked this car out today. It needs AT LEAST $7,000 & 2 months of worth of work... The whole front and drivers side has been repainted w/ shitty paint that doesn't match the factory exact w/ tons of orange peel (probably from another crash?). The paint is shot, scratches (to the primer) on every panel, both quarter panels are dented. The damage on the passenger side was enough to crack a weld on the quarter panel in the trunk area. Passenger door doesn't line up correctly. The interior is messy and looks like it's out of a 60,000 mile plus car. The engine bay's dirty, the differential had some fluid seeping around the corners, same w/ the drivers valve cover. The chrome on the wheels is shot, one rim is dented, the front breaks are down to metal on metal, needs new tires. It's a shame to see a 20K mile Z28 in that condition...

If you fixed everything, you'd pretty much come out even if you'd of bought a 20K mile Z28 w/o any damage. Gotta stick w/ the motto; if it seems to good to be true, it probably is!

Apparently his buddy bailed him out on a few things to get the car running and off the lot it was stored at, and title was in his friend's name. I found a post by him back in November that he was supposedly getting the car home and the title back in his name, although when I asked him about it a couple days ago, he said the title was lost.

He told me today that the car is registered in his friends name but they don't have the title...
i live in La Puente and have seen that car a few times ..... He always revs me up in my LT1 or my Z06. I know he drives the car like it is stolen from what i have witnessed. i would pass and wait for him to get no offers and then low ball his ***......

**** when i got hit from the side like that it nearly totalled my car. It costed about $9K to fix it. But then again there was damage to the floor and other cracks/bends that needed to be fixed around the entire side.
I have the insurance papers if you don't believe me on the price. lol. Needless to say it was a wash, car was never the same. Got rid of it for the SS i have now.

I notified the head Mod yesterday at Z28.com about the car. I told him I didn't want the guy banned or anything (I was being nice), but just to please keep an eye on the car/for-sale thread.

It IS on Craigslist. Someone found it early on in this thread. I emailed craigslist and flagged it for a violation of Rule #7, section "i" of their Terms of Use agreement, "misleading, deception", etc.
