I'm looking for the "Berger Panel" mod... Hey guys, i'm looking to do the "berger Panel" mod to my car. Anyone out there got an already black rear panel? I'm hoping to find one pretty local to me, and off of a black SS if possible, as i dont want to mess with removing or adding badges. I know the "Berger" is supposed to be semi-gloss or whatever, but i'm looking for a glossy OEM paint job on mine to match the "Manta Ray" paint job i'm getting. thanks guys, -The KING |
just get urs sprayed...to match whatever you are doing or do it your self and save time and money |
flat black no gloss |
Here is a pic of my red car with a semi gloss berger panel. $10 can of trim paint. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...g?t=1200548518 |
do it yourself and save some money 1.remove your rear panel 2.take a blowdryer and remove the badges 3.wet sand the panel 4.give the panel light coats of paint with a spray can 5.buy some 3m emblem adhesive and put ur old badges back on 6.install ur berger panel it's real easy should cost you no more than $15(spray paint, sand paper, and 3m emblem adhesive here's my 00'SS http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j2.../Pomona109.jpg http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j214/pomona87/001.jpg |
or just do a search in appearance. they're tons of them! |
hey when u get one i might be interested to buy ur red one if ur selling it. |

Flat or Satin black looks best IMO |
Well i'm doing the "manta ray" hood paint mod to it in gloss, so i think i'm going to match the panel to the paint job... So I think i'm going with the stock glossy onxy. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1000196hz9.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1000189ck1.jpg  |
