Hey guys, i'm looking to do the "berger Panel" mod to my car. Anyone out there got an already black rear panel?
I'm hoping to find one pretty local to me, and off of a black SS if possible, as i dont want to mess with removing or adding badges.
I know the "Berger" is supposed to be semi-gloss or whatever, but i'm looking for a glossy OEM paint job on mine to match the "Manta Ray" paint job i'm getting.
thanks guys,
-The KING

do it yourself and save some money
1.remove your rear panel
2.take a blowdryer and remove the badges
3.wet sand the panel
4.give the panel light coats of paint with a spray can
5.buy some 3m emblem adhesive and put ur old badges back on
6.install ur berger panel
it's real easy should cost you no more than $15(spray paint, sand paper, and 3m emblem adhesive

good instructs..!

Well i'm doing the "manta ray" hood paint mod to it in gloss, so i think i'm going to match the panel to the paint job... So I think i'm going with the stock glossy onxy.

Yeah I remember we did meet....but ummmm i would have to differ about saying that that hood with they painted Manta is definitely not the stock LS1 SS hood.....you might want to google Suncoast SS hood to see what im talking about. Its an LT1 style SS hood on our cars....I think it looks real good!Originally Posted by Calstud86
