Nope, You heard wrong. That's like saying you can't listen to the radio at night, lol. The waves travel no matter what. Hpwever, they can't use the gun at more than a 10 degree angle from the target or it starts becoming inaccurate.The greater the angle, the more its thrown off.

the only time it makes any difference is when there is like fog, power lines and other thing that could cause interference... because its night time just give them more hidding spot and makes it easier to hang it out the window where you wont see

I was a radar tech in the Navy, I know how they work, I was thinking of the legality aspect. Hard to tell which car in a group, idendifying the color at night, so on. Hard to prove **** in the dark.get me???
