no joke, i was paying $401/ a month on the Trans Am, ill be saving 200 a month from insurance alone. not having to pay 325/a month on a car payment brings me to a total savings of 550/ a month.

make sure to try and keep ur account the way it is now...as ur saving a lot of money unlike b4 now is the time to store the extra dough in a savings or something like that...make sure ur account doesnt dwindle!

hey nick...so do u have ur car under full coverage(ill jsut assume u r)? cuz if ur paying 200 a month for car insurance and u bought the car for 4 or 5k...after a year of that thats 2,400 bucks...thats half of what the car is worth...not to mention the title...i would just do liabilty...i mean it is more of a risk...but why pay 200 bucks a month for a car that is only worth 4 or 5k on a salvage vehicle...just some extra thought...cuz u do live in north orange county which seems to be a pretty good neighborhood...it seems the risk is less...put it this way u r gonna save urself 2 grand over a year...yea its more risk...but ur car is not a ws6-where its worth it to have full coverage

use the money, the extra 170 lets jsut say a month for full coverage that u woulda used for full coverage, and put it in a savings account...just have it come out of ur check...after two years u will have about 4k in ur account...kinda banking ur car stays safe (which im sure it will be)...jsut food for thought

Ya sorry i wasn't a math wiz. im actually paying 109/ a month for LIABILITY. after i get some money in it ill switch over to a company that will insure the car for any amount of money i want.

Thanks alot of the advise though David.

Changed my oil Tuesday, my guess is it hasn't been changed in 7-10k miles. It was black as diesel oil, and had all types of sludge and goop in it. Probably gonna do the rear tomorrow morning, so if im not on here you know why. Got the car smoged and passed. but don't have any available time to go to the DMV to register it till next week. Gonna it in on Tuesday to change the transmission oil, hopefully fix my turn signals. and find out whats damaged suspension wise, hence the pull to the right.

From what ive felt so far im pretty sure im gonna need a trans rebuild, but good news is motor is still running strong.

I agree, the tail lights are gay. Lose em. Might look nice in black.

I hope that they're stock IMPALA tail lights and not the CAPRICE ones. You know the difference?
