just got back home wit cod 4 im gonna start playin im also playing threw a 30' Vizio in 720 Niccce lol

720 is nice...what pisses me off is i have a 1080p 42' aquos and even tho some games say they have 1080p support on the case the fkn ps3 plays them at 720...fkn annoying...anyone else have this problem?

well i noticed that it does it automaticaly last night watching a movie it switches to 1080p then on some games it is in 720p and in dirt it went back to 1080 i thik you can hard set it in settings... i dunno if thats the answer your looking for or not

i dunno...mine does it automatically too..but i have noticed that on some games although they support 1080 it still goes down to 720...no idea why that happens...hopefully someone will chime in with an answer

hey letsrun...does your COD4 run at 1080 or 720? the case says 720, 1080i and 1080p...my ps3 goes from 1080p on the xmb to 720 when it runs COD4...pretty odd...all i can think of is maybe i need a better hdmi cable? i dunno

yeah it switches to what ever mode is best for the game..for instance my lcd is at 1080i..when i play cod4 it goes to 720..imo looks better at 720 then 1080 while playing cod4

yeah im not electronics geek its confusing to me too but my geek friend explained it for me lol
