Cocker Spaniel FS
Vet said they were pure bred, I don't know that much about dogs but I don't know how you could tell by examining them. Anyone care to elaborate?
She only wants to find it a home. I'd like her to get reimbursed for what she did. By the looks of the paperwork that's $94.
She got him licensed, examined, shots, microchipped? (PETtrac registration), neutered, a second (free) health exam (due tomorrow, 3/18). I have the dog and all that paperwork and hardware.
I've only had it for 2 days, but it's a real laid back but playful dog. It doesn't jump on my 3 yr. old or bother him either.
Here are a few pics of the dog, paperwork, hardware:

That's the best pics I could take today.
She's posting the info on other sites tomorrow. Let me know if anyone's interested or has any questions.

I was raising the BS flag when I heard it. I thought my mother-in-law was wrong. Shows you how much I know.
Thanks for the offer.

heres a proper cocker cut -

the reason i say hes not well bred is because big time breeders who breed to keep the dog as close to AKC standards as possible, breed and show their dogs. based on the pics you have id say hes never seen a groomer in his life, but i could be wrong, dogs like that are high maintenance, so it just couldve been a long while, but that wild hair didnt happen in month. also his tail shouldve been docked. this is being argued but the rottweiler, cocker, doberman, boxer, etc are docked breeds. some breeders prefer a "natural" look (tails, natural ears), i prefer docked, but to each his own. i dont like his hips, and he doesnt seem to have a nice slope to his shoulder, but these arent great pics to go by.
hes absolutely adorable, my mom bred cockers when she was alive and ive always wanted a buff colored one (thats what yours is bry), if i could have a dog id come get him tonight.
i get tons of compliments on my rott, and the most common comment is "you should breed him!" like hell i should. i agree hes better looking than some excuses for rotts ive seen, and i could go on about his comfirmation, hes not perfect, too big, snout too long, too tall, etc. but according to AKC a rott should have NO WHITE what so ever. period. he has some white on his chest - bad genes.
edit - he wont look like that dog in the pic after the first visit, hed have to be really kept up, but he COULD look like that.

The female was adopted out, this one was near the limit so she pulled it back out of the pound. She has pretty good luck finding homes for strays.
Thanks again.

These are great dogs - almost ALWAYS mild-mannered, friendly, and great with kids (very loyal). This is a BUFF cocker as well - hard to get a hold of and usually very expensive. Most breeders have a waiting list months long for buff cockers.
Hope it goes to a good home. Good luck, Bry.

It plays well (always bringing a ball) and I trust it with my 3yr old. I can't say that about my other dog who jumps on everyone.
One last check, anyone want it?
