Illegally Modified
Illegally Modified So I got a fix-it ticket for illegally modified exhaust last night. The cop gave me till May 28 to fix it. My question is....what happens if you don't get it signed off by then? Does it turn into a warrant? Can I just pay it off w/o touching the exhaust? Thanks in Advance 
i got one of those(running no cat back and gutted cats)...so i bought a magnaflow cat back and went to the ref to check it off...the guy didnt even come outside to check...just signed the paper...got mine in l.a. county BTW
at the bottom of my ticket it said i needed a signature to make sure it was fixed...i dont know about a warrant being issued if u dont fix it...maybe some others can chime in on that

If it's a ticket with a due date and it is not fixed by then, it will turn into a warrant. The date on the ticket is by where it says appear at whatever court by the date right? If so, fix it or show up to court by that date or you will have a warrant.

I got a modified exhaust ticket and they told me its not a fix it ticket and had to pay the 100 and something dollar fine. Till this day i still have the same exhaust with no problems lol
See the cop....made it clear that it was a "fix-it ticket"....he repeated like 3 times.
The thing is....I don't know if you guys remember me posting up the thread about having the run in with the cop out here in Beverly Hills? Well the Court date for that incident is actually on May 28th. The same date which this one is due. So lets just say I don't come around to fix or pay the ticket on the due date. I'm assuming it turns into a warrant? Correct?
My ticket was a fix it ticket,the cop told me I needed to get my exhaust fixed by my court date.My court day came and I didn't go so they sent a letter/ticket saying I failed to appear on my court blah blah.....and that I needed to pay $167.So I just paid the ticket and thats it.If you don't pay the ticket within 10 days then it will be $300 more.Then If you decide not to pay the ticket plus the $300 then it turns into a warrant.
