compared to irwindale which is like 50% humidity and 3000 above sea level. See the difference?

maybe you didnt read all of my post where i said with those mods there would be no way... I also said that unless he is cutting 1.8 60" or better like you that car would not be running that.. But sure if your cutting a 1.6 with full suspension and prolly some weight reduction lots are possible...

weight reduction was the kmember, back seatsout, and spare out. Hey if the car went a 1.2 60' for 298 rwhp i'd be god also whats your point. People cant 60' its there fault not setting the car up proberly or not being a good driver. Friend down here 60's in the low 1.8s high 1.7's on street tires everytime out.

Thats a good amount of weight, he made his point though he said without a good 60' or weight reduction of some sort they won't run that, and you proved his point for him.

My car pulled low 1.8 60' on 245(width) $60 tires so I can believe that one though.

if you consider under 100lbs of weight out of the car yea then its a lot of weight. Car still had stock springs perches, stock a arms, so its not the full weight savigns your thinking of on a kmember. I also showed 12 sec 2v runs with 265rwhp only thing out of the car was the spare. That being said this talk was of a mach. I mach would be pushing over 300 rwhp .

Im not lookin for a fight... Thats my personal opinion from what i have seen... and being out on the track almost every week i see alot.. Thats awsome if those guys can 60" under 1.8 on street tires but i highly doubt its the norm.. I would call that freaky..

i'm also at the track pretty much everyweekend. Street tires its all about prep and how the driver is. If they know how to ride the clutch out right its possible all day long. Most cant, i'll admit that but know of a few who do it all the time and never said it was the norm. They do it so they dont have to worry about upgrading rears and launching hard for now.

Sucks I do 60' faster than that. Driver mod time buddy

My rear has seen 100+ 1.6 and lower 60' lot of 1.4 60s as well. So I know all about "borrowed" time

On a long enough time line, everything dies.
