Thumbs up Surgery on my Hawk

Cant seem to find writeups on changing knock sensors. I know they are under the intake manifold. And I will change them tomorrow regardless if i find a writeup or not. But just want to do my research before tomorrows surgery on my hawk. Anyone?

just use the writeup on how to swap to LS6 intake from ls1howto.com and then after the manifold is out its a peice of cake!

if i remember correctly they just unscrew out of the valley cover once you have the manifold off... pretty simple...

Once the manifold is off, use a pair of needle nose pliers or two screw drivers with gentle pressure to depress the tabs on the electrical plug on each of the two knock sensors. Then unscrew the knock sensors and replace them.

yep unscrew intake be careful not to break the clips ( i broke one ) and then then unscrew the knock sensors voila
