ok, so Mike (R.O.L.) said his guy messed up my rotors AGAIN, and drilled them instead of dimpling them....it'll be still another 2 WEEKS for me

....ho-hum...

Mikey mikey Mikey Ah man I am sorry, ya just had to be different didn't ya.

Funny thing, we have all read stories about cracking due to cross drilling but 1. unless it is poor machine work and 2. You are road racing (circuit courses) I highly doubt that would ever come into play.

Mike is a good guy, and the product it top notch, as everyone has seen. I hate to say it will be worth the wait (I know your brakes are squealing)

Will see you tomorrow night at Bobs

I'm not sweating mike's work at all...he called me and was a real cool guy, and apologized and offered to upgrade me....i'm just gonna be a hard-*** for the dimpled because I really want to try a set.....and even if they wouldn't crack (and i doubt they would, from what i hear) i can diffuse the notion by just getting the dimpled in the first place.

I just can't wait to get them on, lol...it's killing me, and she's my DD.

See you tomorrow night!!

Which way do you install the rotors?

1. So they spin in the direction that the slots go from the inside forward

2. So that the slots are such that they have the outer part to the slot forward.

I have seen them installed both ways, So what do you guys think? Lets see who agrees and who does not.
1 my friend... I think it would be retarded otherwise...

Hey guys just wanted to see if you all are getting the same thing that I am.

First Question is: Are they supposed to be discolered like this?

Next Question is: Anyone get what looks to be a unfinished rotor?

Other three look like this

I talked with Mike and he says that is normal, the zinc plating will wear off where the pads contact the rotors, thats inevitable, which is what I suspected, just looks like it is not coming off 100% evenly.

Mike has been at the Long Beach swap meet all day since 3am this morning, so he's probably just been busy the last couple of days. I called Friday and got a fax response, then called back a little later and he picked up.
