Should I get myself into this... Ok, well Im pretty interested in this girl, and shes the same with me. Shes like totally cool, and down to earth. She has alot in common with me which I think is a plus since the last girl I dated didnt have much in common with me at all. But I live in Canoga Park/Northridge area, and she lives in L.A., like near the Los Angeles City College. Do you guys think it would be alot of gas on my T/A? Like for the Fwy commute?

But yeah I think Imma go for it. I was just thinking about it, and wasnt sure about it. Im use to having a GF and being like no more than 5 minutes away from eachother. One other thing that I really like about her is that shes getting into a Medical career, which is kinda the same going on for me.

Yeah its about a 30 minute fwy drive, but then up to and 1 1/2 hours for traffic. And the bus is the same amount of time as sitting in traffic. I think imma willing to make the commitment.

Don't do it you can probably get something closer to home. Think about the mileage you'll be putting on the car not only the gas prices which are are not something to be ignored either. Also as BIGDADDYBRY said, what happens when a barrel of oil goes to $200?

it'll be madness! Haha, thats funny. But I was thinking about the mileage it would put on my car, and my car is clocked around 91k miles right now. At the same time, it isnt actually that far if I drive out there, or take the bus on some occasions. Plus I think that this girl would be like better than most, or all of the past relationships I was in. Oh yeah, Ill also add that im 19, and shes 18.
only go see her during non traffic times. I was once with a chick who lived about that distance away, and when she said "how can we see each other" I said "i will just come out when there is no traffic"
