2000 Impala Motor Mount Problem
2000 Impala Motor Mount Problem My friend has a 2000 Impala with the 3.8 L motor. The front passenger side mount busted, was replaced with a new mount, and it busted again the next day. The mount is hydraulic fluid filled. What could be causing the mount to break so quickly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

those break alot under high stress tell your buddy to stop stalling up the car lol...j/k but anyways check both passanger dog bone and the engine mount that is next to the crank pulley. Check all the rubber mounts. and make sure the dog bones are on correctly. Anymore problems send me a pm.
The mount that keeps going out is the one next to the crank pulley. The dog bones are the metal pieces attached to the radiator support and the top of the block right?? Would you happen to know the location of all the mounts as well? Thanks.

make sure one of the dog bone mounts...the actual mount to the block isn't cracked THEY love to break. Ive broken them a few times already lol. Next thing is try getting a better mount zzperformance.com has a good one. Look under grandprix same car just different body panels.
