question for you AZ guys a friend of mine just bought a vacation home out in AZ and i asked him jokingly that he should let me use his address so i dnt have to deal with california emissions and he said NO PROBLEM.. now he's got me thinking.. Is it possoble? would it work>>?? any suggestions, ideas, comments>?

I dont know about CA law. But, because we have such high registration fees here people try to keep there old plates from where they came. But if you get caught out here with being a resident and haveing plates from another state it is like a $500 fine. So you might want to check into that.
I would think you would run into problems with your insurance company also.

Sounds like what you want to do is register a vehicle in AZ and not be a resident.
So start transferring your mail to AZ, get an AZ driver's license, insure as an AZ resident, register your car here, get your emissions done here and BOOM you're good to go.
