Meet the Ilmodcs...
I finally got around to getting some old footage of my 1995 TA off of the VHS-C video cassettes and onto my computer. Unfortunately, I rarely filmed any of my burn outs or donuts. Oh well.
Loved this car, but after 4 transmissions, I had to let it go. LT4 Hot cam, gears, 2700 stall torque converter made for a fun ride.
Oh, the whole I.L.M.O.D.C. (pronounced “IL-Maude”) I guess is a throw back to Knight Rider and K.I.T.T.
ILMODC on my license plate stood for In Loving Memory of Donna Cervantes, my mom. She passed away from cancer before she got her Trans Am. Something funny is that every time I would get pulled over cops would ask me what kind of “illegal mods” I got on the ride. AND every time I’m like WTF? Is this just a regular thing coppers ask now a days??
It wasn’t until later on someone asked me what the plate stood for and they too thought it stood for illegal-mods. Priceless.
Here's the logo I'm working on:

Ya, the 1995 TA sounded great. The LT4 Hot cam @ 6K rpm was real nice. The gears and stall mad donuts alot of fun too.
Oh well. Memories. Soon the 1987 TA will pick up where the 1995's legacy left off.
