Default Need your help and Ideas.

My car has been acting strange lately.
When the car hits over drive @ 40 or so mph everything is fine. Smooth shifting and all.
If the car slow down to say below 40 and I give it some light throttle the engine will chug and chug bad.
Some times from a light and I give it gas quickly off the line to get through a light it hesitates.
Also if I accelerate from a 30 mph roll it will miss and sputter and then clear it self.
Now I disconnected the TPS and it was quite a bit better the chugging was hardly noticeable.
IF it is the TPS causing this grief why has the SES light not come on ?

Any Ideas.
I have cleaned the T/B, cleaned the MAF,plugs I have not checked but I' m sure they are good the idles fine and is smooth.
Fuel filter is new last summer,Injectors have been cleaned last summer, air filter is clean what else don't know.
Fuel pressure ???? can GM scan or test that????

I do have a new set of plugs waiting to be installed but i have to find some tools to install them.

If worse come to worse Im going to take to a GM dealer and have a tech come with me and scan while I drive.

Thanks

Cars running great so I think the wires are fine. No visible problems.

My car has a very similar problem. It "sputters" when accelerating and once in a while while cruising. Also sometimes when I start it up, it lopes, then usually stalls. Sometimes it stalls in Drive at near idle speed. I ran seafoam through the gas tank, changed the plugs, wires, fuel filter, cleaned the air filter (K&N recharge), cleaned/replaced the MAF, and did an oil change + filter. Oh, and no vacuum leaks from what I can tell (I'm checking again tomorrow). Only two things are left that I can think of:

Injectors
Fuel pump

After replacing all those parts, I really don't want to throw any more money at the problem unless I absolutely have to. Sigh.
