Okay, So I'm in Venice right now, Which is basicly Los Angeles. I am really tired of paying over priced rent over here.

So, my question is where are some cool citys around LA that are cheaper

I Pay 1600 2bed apt now 5 blocks from the beach

I want to rent or buy 3-4 bedroom home

anyone know the area?

I have been keeping an eye on canyon country, there are several homes up there that ive seen that are 3-4 bedrooms for under 200k, a couple were around 120k, which would be about 800 a month in mortgage if you can get a loan. It would be a great starter home right now and in the next 5 years will probably double in value. Its pretty close to santa clarita and to Palmdale/lancaster which are becoming very populated areas.

garden grove...my brother pays 1650.00 for a 4 bedroom house with detached garage and a HUGE backyard...like 5 miles from the beach

Try Castaic Lake by Valencia...big houses for cheap.

wow, that's peanuts. i pay $1700 for an 800 sq ft 1 bedroom in camarillo...not a single utility is included.

Yeah I live in the City of Industry area, I used to live with a buddy in Covina and used to pay $1200 a month. Utilities included except electricity. Kinda Ugly but it was a ***** house. 2 Single Early 20's men! You can imagine.

All good things come to an end. In Industry your looking at least $1600+ for a small 3 bed, 1 bath house. Its still pricey. My brother Just bought a house In Arvin up north over the grape wine. 4 bed 2.5 bath, Brand Spankin new customized to his liking for like $220k. Its about $1500 a month 10k down.
