i got a buddie with a whippled cobra that will run you..matter fact also got a buddie with a stock eaton blower on a cobra that will run ..

 

race would be neck and neck. The aa4 has 100 less hp and will be running low 13s and on street tires the cobra will be running high 12's depending how bad he hooks

 

I agree. A Camaro with 4.10's near stock will probably run 8 flat more or less. The Cobra has 428rwhp on a heavier car with no driver on street Nittos 555's? I say 8.0-8.4+/-. If the Camaro hooks and leaves hard and the Cobra driver is as bad as you say with 428rwhp on street tires, you should get it. Let me now how wrong, or right, I am later.

 

This is for 1/8mi, should be close because of gears. 1/4mi I would take the Cobra, with 4.10's and less hp the Camaro wouldnt have enough up top.

 

Good Luck it's going to be a close race. If it was me i would be putting a bottle on the carmaro just in case. If the carmaro driver isn't on his A game the cobra has it.

 

i think the camaro should have him. I've owned a 03 termi at the track. if he cant launch and you can. its your race. i'll lend you my et streets for the good sake of a good outcome

Not all Cobras are fast..... here in az theres alot that have done basic bolt ons... and didnt make much of a differnce....

since its only 1/8 mile i will go with the camaro on this one assuming he launches hard and the cobra driver sucks as bad as u say he does

 

i know 500 miles to break in an engine is recommended. but for a clutch it just has to even out the material on the disc... someone chime in here

 

To be on the safe side at least 100 miles but most companies recommend 500 thats all.

 

I am fairly certain the Cobra is going to take this win, the driver will definitely spin off the line but once he gains traction the Z is going to be seeing some tail lights.

I am not in any way, shape or form underestimating the LS1 motor, but I think some of you guys are underestimating the Cobra motor.....by a lot. The thing is a freaking beast that responds to any mods very well, it's not just a regular GT. It's a Mustang born directly from Satan's *******.

really, WRONG, i have take out more than one cobra... from stock to pullied/exhaust/tuned so think the camaro has a good chance
