Yep, if everything checks out and it runs good that car is a steal for that mileage. Then again the economy is pretty crappy so it might be a legit deal.

I ran the carfax on it...it was a total loss in 2007!! Had a rebuilt title issued. It's had 7 owners.
I just bought my first LS1 on Sat...I've been looking for a few weeks and would like to encourage you to buy from an individual and wait for the right deal. Having the cash in hand and ready to move when the "deal of the century" shows up is critical. I bought a 1 owner 2001 NBM Trans Am w/54,000 miles for $7900. It even has a lid and professionally installed Hooker LT's, Y pipe and SLP Loudmouth. He even threw in a set of Boyd Cottington Smoothies! It truly looks like new! I was really hoping to get a 2001 or 2002, but really knew I couldn't afford them because all I saw were cars priced $12-14K, then there it was. I begged the guy to hold it for me since I couldn't get there for 1.5 days.

Outside of an occasional 'steal' by a few lucky buyers, you generally get what you pay for. Always keep that in mind. Fortunately in today's buyer's market there is an excellent chance of getting a super bargain, just be very alert!
