What is it worth?
What is it worth? I am building a GTM a already have an engine but need the other donor parts. I have the ablity to buy either a ZO6 or the standard Vette, since I am not using the engine from the donor I wanted to know what the value of a LS6 w/tranny and what is the value of a LS1 w/tranny (or the whole drivetrain for that matter) Both with about 35K on the clock, I am trying to factor the value of the misc parts to see if the ZO6 is worth the extra $$.

whats the price diff on the two donar cars?
i prefer the z06 wheels(based on looks), and since the gtm has its own suspension and you already have engine, i dont know what other parts on the z06 differ from the base.
might be cheaper to go aftermarket/junkyard or cars that are parting out then going for a entire corvette

The GTM uses the donor car suspension and brakes among many other things. The ZO6 is about 2K more but selling the engine will I see $5500 for the LS6 and $3500 for the LS1 with the both having the trans still attached or am I off on the values?
Those numbers may be a little high on the motors for used sale in today's economy. Might be $1000 difference between motors is my guess also. I have a Z06 and woouldn't have it any other way...but in your case it may be more expensive.
