When you find a special car sometimes you need to move beyond the parameters of guide books. 47,000 miles is good but not ultra low mileage like 15k or so. Yes, the mileage commands a slight premium especially if the car is in very good to excellent conditon as you state. I would not pay more than $14,000 in most instances. If one owner, new tires, and literally near perfect, I might go a tad more but in these times the seller knows that a loan is near impossible to get and not many people who have serious cash are looking for a 2000 Firehawk. Whatever he is asking, always offer less even if he has it priced low already. IMHO I gave you absolutely top $$$ amounts if you MUST have the car. If he is higher than that he'll be trying to sell for quite awhile. Good luck!

He told me $12,000 is his bottom dollar. A loan is not needed for I have the cash to go buy it off of him today but I was told I can't bring another car home untill I sell one. KBB is very low on the car I believe barely $9,000 and this is something my father is stressing but he is into hotrods and not 4th gen F-Bodys so he doesnt understand that it is a steal for what I can buy the car for. Hopefully my Camaro will sell shortly. The owner is a collector who has one too many cars as it is and he is just looking to get rid of it to make some room for a work truck I have come to understand. He paid $18,000 3 years ago and put less than 5,000 miles on it since he bought it. Sounds like I have a good deal on my hands just gotta sell a lil V6 Camaro..

I would grab it for $12k. That sounds like a real nice deal. Again, good luck and I hope you can get it. Well cared for Firehawks are getting tough to find and when you do find one they are usually top dollar. $12,000 is a big BUY! KBB means ZIP when it comes to specialty cars just like I stated before.
