I purchased the car with 86,000 miles on it and have owned it since. I have done my very best to keep its condition to its highest level possible.
Question:
The transmission went out about 2 weeks ago. I'm up in the air about selling the car as is, replacing the trans with a stock one and put my stall in it if it is still good (estimating around $1k parts and labor), or replace the trans with a built one and use my stall or a new one (estimating $2k to $3k).
I'm thinking if I can get outta this situation with the car as is for the right price then I would. What do you all think is a fair price for my car right now and if you are willing an estimate with the trans fixed. I'm really looking at getting into an 06 GTO if possible.
