1999 hoss
1999 hoss Recently discovered that the LS6 in the 99 is due for a rebuild (low compression in a few cylinders). I plan to pull the motor and fix (believe it to be rings but we will see).
Car has the following:
LS6 w/ stock milled heads (will be rebuilt before sold)
Cometic .040 gaskets (may have stock gaskets after rebuild)
TSP224R cam
Patriot Dual gold valve springs
ARP head bolts
Jet Hot Headers
OR Y-pipe
B&B exhaust
UD Pulley
LS6 intake
PP TB
Lid
T56 rebuild less than 2k miles ago by T56rebuilds (common upgrades installed), works flawlessly
B&M Ripper shifter
Spec 3+ clutch
C5 front brakes with cooling ducts (new stock pads front and rear on brakes)
Line lock
Subframe connectors (3 point weld in)
Koni SA shocks (maybe 3k miles on them)
Strano Springs (same as shocks)
Black ZR1 wheels w/ KDW tires (maybe 30-40% tread, may replace w/ stock wheels before sale)
Car is Hugger Orange w/ black manta currently. Going to be repainted in the next month or so to fix the clearcoat issues on hood/spoiler and any scratches around the car so it should be perfect. Has an SLP SS grill now, and CME exhaust that will be installed. Car also currently has black halo lights, they will likely be replaced with stock. Also has export tail lights but may replace with stock as well.
Car comes with original curbed up polished ZR1's. Also can come with harness bar and strut tower brace.
Car has ~106k original miles but about everything has been changed or upgraded. I used this car for TWS sessions and the car handles amazingly well. I'm just ready to move onto other things. Rather than sell the car with problems (paint and smoking engine) I plan to fix all that is wrong so whoever buys will have a nice car from the start.
